mdub83 Posted June 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 23, 2007 Well, I successfully opened it with a 12" adjustable wrench! It was the only thing big enough that I had on hand that would fit around the case. Another difficulty with this watch was that the notches on the case back aren't parallel, making opening the case back without scratching it difficult but not impossible. It works for me when opening the caseback, however, I use a 12 inch wrench to do the final tightening when fitting it back. Do it slowly, the wrench sometimes slip. SSTEEL Posted December 13, 2016 Report Share Posted December 13, 2016 Ball 90% inflated, and squeeze the ball, pushing quite hard down onto the case back whilst turning anti-clockwise. I find better results when I clean both the ball, and case back with alcohol wipes. Make sure both are dry before carrying out the procedure.
