My first reluming attempt on my 111H and some Lume shots

I bought the reluming paint from ofrei. It's about $40.

My result. Not bad at all. Sandwich dial is easier imo.

Takashi also bought the kit, you can check here:

http://www.replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1885

The kit comes with a bottle of glue, a bottle of luminous powder, and a bottle of diluent.

You will need to mix these stuffs to make the paint. Then you can use the oil pike to apply the paint.

If you wanna try, try it on a sandwich dial first. You just need to be patient and don't try to apply too much paint.

ok, since no1 else asked...

how does these compre to the super luminova? hopefully you've got one that's supre lume'd for comparison.

I'm more intersted in the initial intensity, then the longevity

The answer to that question has already been covered in this post...

The "Regular" lume in this post is the lume from Ofrei, that he mistakenly advertizes as Super Lume, it isn't, only the lume from RC Tritec is actual Super Lume...

Lume comparison post.

The Zigmeister is right. Those are not super lume. The lume doesn't last very long.

As far as I know, the superlume can last for hours.

Wow :Jumpy: those look great! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

You aren't trying to do some for money are you :whistling:

But seriously could you do a tutorial since you are so good at it and also so great at taking photos :whistling:

And does it really take your camera 30 seconds to snap a shot? I guess you probably use a much nicer camera than I do. Mine snaps same speed every time.

Jon :D

Oh yeah @RBJ where can you purchase Super Luminova?

To be able to judge if a lume job is done well or not, you need to show pics of the dial uncharged.

That's so true...

Here you go.

The dial is fine. I don't see any difference comparing to my un-relumed fiddy.

The hands are not perfect, but acceptable. Anyway, I would probably relume the sandwich dial only for the next project. The sandwich dial is indeed a lot easier.
