How much will the ingy with ceramic bezel be? 700$ with 'kevlar' strap and 800 with SS bracelet? If they are done with non-chrono ETA, they might be worth it. At least more than the a7750 running big bangs... Less things to go wrong and needing quality control.

Case is the same as in the previous model. (42.5). They added a big Ingenieur at 45.5, with the automatic 7 day power reserve caliber, but this will fall in the category "when will we see a correct iwc big pilot?"

Ha! I'm so lucky to found one of the AD near my home got stock of "Big-Ingy". Awesome & Big ! I think at least 45mm+

But they ask for USD$7700.........

I could've sworn I remember reading that they're not going to do the ceramic Ingy because it has a display back, and the guy that does the 'super-reps' only wants to do watches that can be 'perfect'...the ETA movement would be a giveaway, so he isn't going to do it.

The power reserve model doesn't have a corresponding rep movement that could work with it, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, either....

For me, I don't really care about the open case back issue. Because I NEVER take offf my watch & hang it to anybody....even my wife. Haha, I'm not worry about that.

You should care, in as far as they're not going to rep the watch because of the display back. I wouldn't care about it, either...but apparently the maker does.

I really like the Big Ingenieur.. well its the first IWC i really like except the const. diver..

Then we might see a BP and a big ingy, but at that point they may have repped a in house movement from panerai, but if i am wishing i might as well go for that 50 ft Saloon Yacht too.

It has been interesting in the gen world that the 45mm 7day has not been so successful. It is already discounted well below the Big Pilot on a percentage basis. I think it is great looking but it is clearly the poor step child to the Pilot. By the way the Inge 7-day is a display back as well so I am expecting the Big Pilot to come first from the rep manufacturers if either one does.
