grebeck
Hello, I have enjoyed reading posts here for a few months. I haven't purchased a rep yet as I was looking for a US seller that perhaps wanted to reduce his/her collection. I had hoped to buy a used rep for a discount before spending a lot on a new one (a lot for me is $200 :yucky: ). However I've noticed that in the watch trading/selling forum most people are asking close to the original price for used reps. Is there any other outlet for buying used reps that I am missing? I hope to find an omega, pan or rolex. I'll probably get flamed for this post (being cheap and all), but please keep in mind that I am new to the whole rep watch thing and still find it hard to believe a rep could be anywhere close to a genuine quality wise and don't know about getting things shipped from overseas. KB
Hi and welcome to RWG My advice is to keep watching the members trade area as something in your prefered price range is bound to come up sooner or later. Ken
Craytonic
Most people that sell have big rep collections so anything they sell is like new so they keep value, also no customs worries if in the US. You can get a nice submariner rep new from many for $100.

Ken Thanks for the warm welcome Ken. One thing I like about this place is that most people here seem very polite. Just the wealth of info people have volunteered is amazing. I'd never heard of a Panerai watch before I came here and now I want one (even though my first impression was that they were oversized and gaudy).
