verbal Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Was just wanting to look at what kind of Hbb's there are but cant find them on josh's site. Is it just me or are they there? They've moved to the Hublot website under "fakes" you can order from there serious, could be that Josh has Hublot's attention since they use his pictures on their website...
hambone Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Hublot's legal team put the clampers on Josh's website anf he was forced to remove them.
ravishingrick Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 What the heck can Hublot do to bunch of rep sellers located in China? The Chinese will just laugh Hublot in the face, the Chinese don't care for copyright's, licenses or intellectual property...

Watchmeister Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Aren't you glad you got yours. Seriously, unless they can find a way to shut down the factory this is tilting at windmills. Of course Hublot's biggest problem is that other than a unique design there is nothing special about the watch or the movement.
TomRiddle Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Aren't you glad you got yours. best watch I've ever owned and didn't get mine from Josh or Andrew
ajoesmith Posted September 8, 2007 Author Report Posted September 8, 2007 Isnt there a glaring flaw on the HBB's The red paint on the second hand should extend longer, closer to the 'H'. On the rep it looks too short? Anyone notice this? EDIT: i see this has been fixed in the newer releases.

EDIT: i see this has been fixed in the newer releases. nah, the single most glaring flaw on HBB reps.. and this is critical never. ever. let it leave your wrist.. soon as it goes off your wrist, game over... it's a stick-on lettering fer crying out loud the gens are engraved so if you're going for flaws, you have to absolutely understand... never, ever let it come off your wrist because it's a 100% guaranteed tell

Anyway, looks like i might ppick one up but dont know which one to get. Any ideas, i dont want the Rose gold models or the mellow yellow!
Desuetude Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 What the heck can Hublot do to bunch of rep sellers located in China? The Chinese will just laugh Hublot in the face, the Chinese don't care for copyright's, licenses or intellectual property... I wouldn't be so confident about that.
Watchmeister Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 I don't see the business in general slowing down any time soon. Chinese gov't does care about intellectual property but only when it is theirs or when it impacts profitability on their own businesses. The other thread regarding ceramics for HBB reps being made at the same factory may well make the ceramic HBB's a rarity. But IMHO this is the exception rather than the norm.
Victoria Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Hublot's legal team put the clampers on Josh's website anf he was forced to remove them. At the risk of bringing down the ire of many, I hope you guys know Josh's new internet addy is: http://www.pc-80108.com/ And the "Hxxxxx" is back.
Guest TTK Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 I'm sure Jean Claude will appreciate the heads up.....!
Watchmeister Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 You are showing sympathy for Josh?
CY0811 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Now if they could only make the damn thing comfortable on the wrist.....for the 1st week I loved it...little by little the clasp began to bother me.
evildee Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Now if they could only make the damn thing comfortable on the wrist.....for the 1st week I loved it...little by little the clasp began to bother me. I know what you mean. I modded mine with electrical tape; hardly noticeable and the pain is gone.
lanikai Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Now if they could only make the damn thing comfortable on the wrist.....for the 1st week I loved it...little by little the clasp began to bother me. wearing a little higher .. would that help??
