After all, they have a very nicely made 7750 with seconds at 3:00. Think of all the thousands of Daytona paperweights we forum members have laying around. Drop in the new, improved 7750 movement with seconds at 6:00 and "poof", brand new working Daytona arises from the ashes. We will henceforth call it the Daytona Phoenix model !!! The Porsche will be superb as is a 1:1 from an original. The I hope the Swordfisher will be a quality one. This two watches are in my Xmas list for Santa! Look at the dealer's sites and you see what, at least 20 Daytona variants, and they keep rolling more out despite prevailing collectors buzz that they're gorgeous but expensive paperweights. I've recieved one piece of good news and one piece of bad news: The ROO w/ seconds @ 12 will probably happen, and the rumored rep w/ the best price ratio/potential accuracy/modibility, the Muller King Conquistador Chrono, probably wont. A 3035 powered sub? $2500 for a 3035 powered sub rep would be the most idiotic watch ever made. You can make a 2836 powered rep nobody will ever call you out on w/ gen dial, hands(broaching/glueing anyone?), crystal, crown and clasp and maybe even bracelet for $1000 less; a 3035 powered franken with all gen parts sans case for about the same money if you're willing to make the effort; or buy a used gen sub for a couple hundred bucks more.
