space
I'm going to spend 5 nights in New York, in about a month, and all my watches are replicas... ( Except some old crappy watches ) Is it any risk wearing a rep through customs at Newark? I think the UPO will be my watch of choise. I'm just going to wear one on my wrist. none in the luggage. corpsman
nah you should'nt be worried. its an accesory item. no one is gonna inspect something on your body.
Desuetude
I really wouldn't worry about it. Newark is usually too concerned about not losing your luggage in the first place.
Lyndonville
Nope. No one cares what you wear over here. Watches, clothes, whatever, it's all good.

space
great! Then I can buy another rep, instead of a cheap gen I was thinking about buying a Seiko SKX031 Like the one in this beautiful photo taken by Pugwash: They're going pretty cheap at ebay. Desuetude
You should get one anyway. My Seiko 6139-729A from 1976 is still one of my favorite watches, and gets significant wrist time. Along with my Seamaster GMT (21J), it has been to hell and back, hasn't been serviced in 15 years, and still runs +8 seconds a day. They are truly timeless...not only because of the style, but because you simply can't kill 'em!
dvn
earlier this year around April i wore my 4th gen po for my 3 weeks vacation to southeast Asia and no one had never ask me a question.

You shouldn't have anything to worry about, they are more worried about drugs and terrorism than a few watches. Just curious what part of Norway are you from, one of my friends is staying in Haugesund for the last month. I wanted to go visit but the timing wasn't right.
