P4GTR
Have a look at the time my 177H came to a stop after not being wound for a few days. What are the chances? Its dead on, literally.

Guest TTK
Not really.....you often find that as the power diminishes.....it has enough to take it up to the horizontal....but not enough to overcome gravity past that point......does happen but not often....! jfreeman420
We all just experience what seems to be a watch miracle and TTK has to go and deflate it with a scientific explanation. My faith is once again broken.

Interesting point. BUT.. It still chose to die at precisely the stroke of midnight. The chances of that exact time with a 50+ hr. power reserve is crazy. :velho:

gioarmani
That's cool. Check out St. Stephen's clock tower ("Big Ben") when were in London 3 weeks ago. Two different times on each side of the tower & the same time of day; must have been closed for repair: That really screwed with my jet-lag, considering I didn't have a watch on. P4GTR
No date function Nanuq. Just hour/minute/second and a posessed movement. This watch came to me with a tangled mainspring and did not work correctly. I fixed it and gave it a chance at new life. Maybe this is a sign.
