Cool. That should shut up the usual knee-jerk "It's not football since you play with your hands" and "rugby is better" talk right? Right. P.S.: I for one, remember the defunct London Monarchs. Sniff. cornerstone Posted October 28, 2007 Report Share Posted October 28, 2007 Miami are 0 from 7 this season...it's not looking bright for them I went to the World Bowl final once, it was pretty cool except for the fact that when the game stopped to show the ads in the US in the stadium we only one ad over, and over, and over again. For two hours. And two hours of "You can't get better than a Kwik Fit Fitter" can really begin to grate... But we always turn it up a notch against New York teams, for some reason. I went to the World Bowl final once, it was pretty cool except for the fact that when the game stopped to show the ads in the US in the stadium we only one ad over, and over, and over again. For two hours. Nice! My ex (British) boyfriend was into the NFL, and would go to one of the few pubs in Oxfordshire who would show NFL games. Me, I prefer Canadian football. GO ARGOS! Rugby IS better AND its not real football if you ain't usin' your feet....they ought to rename it "RUN_PASS_CATCH_TIME_OUT_FOR_COMMERCIAL_BREAK_BALL".... It's a great sport and I used to follow it every week on Channel 4. Back then, the games had crowds in the scores (maybe even hundreds for a big one).
