llsteve80 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Well, the filename of the photo is a hint... OOOPS!
chris5264 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 well, I had to give a few,,,,,,,,,,It's not all Poljot 3133,,,,,,,,,made in Germany...
chris5264 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 Some kind of Dugena? sorry,,not it,,,I actually got into this brand thinking about German aviation. For the price, I admit I was totally impressed with the quality. Think first cross of the Atantic,,,with head winds.....
cornerstone Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Ah, something like this Graf Zepplin (!) then... A bargain at $475 if it is....
t Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Hi Chris my watchmaker has this watch on his store.... very nice movement. I see them every day and love them. But the watch is not good enough. Price is good, but the qulity is not like other expensive german brands. i can get them cheaper... let me know and i will ask for best price. of course Poljot caliber regards Tourby

I guess tourby guessed the watch, but here's another trivia question. Who sold steel watches with that exact movement in the early 90's for over $8000?
chris5264 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 It's a Junkers,,,,pretty nice for 400 (usd). Great lum, it actually lasted till morning, but the movement is really the nice part. The only thing about the Poljot 3133 is that there is no quick set date so takes a while to set as you can see.
alligoat Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Is the Poljot 3133 a copy of the Valjoux 7733- it looks very similar to me?
chris5264 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 Is the Poljot 3133 a copy of the Valjoux 7733- it looks very similar to me? I read somewhere it is more than just a copy,,,The Poljot is made using the same actual machines that the Valjoux were made with.
t Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 i think the Zeppilin looks better as the Junkers movement looks very nice and rare... but it is not decorated in swiss or german quality. But looks good
