freddy333 Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Beautiful. What did Ziggy do to/for it/them?
pitimany Posted November 11, 2007 Author Report Posted November 11, 2007 (edited) @The Zigmeister, Thanks again. Love these watches. Beautiful. What did The Zigmeister do to/for it/them? Hi Freddy333, for the 6264, The Zigmeister intalled, servised the movements and assembled the watch. He also did a similar job in the other three in the pass two years. And, as I said The Zigmeister does a fantastic job always. P Edited November 11, 2007 by pitimany
Guest avitt Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Very nice pieces. One correction though: The correct designation of this model is 6263. The 6262 and 6264 had pump pushers (non screw-down), similar to the 6239/6241. The difference was that the 6262 and 6264 had the updated 727 movement. These transitional models were only produced for two years.

RWG Technical Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Poor Ziggy, lucky you. Now that's not fair... You know I love a challenge, and especially when it includes a very old movement in need of servicing - which this V72 needed desperatly. The movement was a bit of a mess, dirty, a bit corroded, and way out of adjustment, many hours later, it's working good considering the age. I was very pleased with the results, I just wish they could get these V72 hands made correctly, they all need broaching to get them to fit correctly, what a pain. But the end results speak for themselves. RG
alligoat Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Pitimany, that is certainly one fine collection of Daytonas. You are definitely the vintage Daytona king at this point, congratulations!
robertk Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Great collection. As usual, The Zigmeister's work is part artistry.
