ryaku
Waiting for a correct PO version (put that bloody logo in the right place).............. http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=531 Despite low price it looks good (i suspect overall quality is the same of the dearer eta version) Hands lenght seems correct. Just one flaw: bezel alignment, as usual. I wish to know your opinion omega nuts.

supermanx
Looks like a wierd hybrid... closest to the 300m GMT
ubiquitous
Not a hybrid- That is a rep of the Omega Seamaster 2254.50.00. Looks like the He Valve is also too low, and the opening for the crown in the CG's needs to be more pronounced. A pic of the genuine (from Blowers Jewelers):
krustybrand
The other issue with all of these is the alignment of the waves on the dial. The peak of the wave is aligned with the 12-6 axis of the dial. This is correct for the mid-size version, but not the full size. A genuine dial is the only fix. ryaku
Changing dial would be the best solution, no doubt, but my point is...are there reps better than that?

Read this for some pointers: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=426 PT arranged Bricky very nice black SMP. There should be a link in the guide. ryaku
Read this for some pointers: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=426 PT arranged Bricky very nice black SMP. There should be a link in the guide. By-Tor i've already read both. Bricky's SMP seems very similar and has different flaws (seconds hand is too short, instead bezel alignment is correct). Don't forget Andrew's costs 108$. Edited June 2, 2006 by ryaku

I don't think the dial feet on a genuine dial will fit the Chinese movement, as they different in placement from the ETA.

Uh i didn't know that. I'd better pull the trigger on a Eta version.
Canuck88
Pearl on the rep is too big If there was an accurate version of this watch I would buy it in a heartbeat.

marrickvilleboy
thats not such a bad rep to be honest. Stop comparing the newer ones to the old closed factory reps. its not going to happen again. you will have to make the most out of the newer ones. all i did was put in a genuine insert and crown and crown tube to get mine looking very close to the genuine.
