Just one flaw: bezel alignment, as usual. I wish to know your opinion omega nuts.

krustybrand Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 The other issue with all of these is the alignment of the waves on the dial. The peak of the wave is aligned with the 12-6 axis of the dial. This is correct for the mid-size version, but not the full size. A genuine dial is the only fix.

There should be a link in the guide. By-Tor i've already read both. Bricky's SMP seems very similar and has different flaws (seconds hand is too short, instead bezel alignment is correct). I don't think the dial feet on a genuine dial will fit the Chinese movement, as they different in placement from the ETA.

Stop comparing the newer ones to the old closed factory reps. its not going to happen again. you will have to make the most out of the newer ones. all i did was put in a genuine insert and crown and crown tube to get mine looking very close to the genuine.
