I have made 2 new straps today for myself and I wanted something different than what I have...

Although Tan is the first option for stitching colour to a burgundy and brown strap I want something different...

There are 3 options threads for 2 straps...

Blue - Yellow - Dark Brown

WHich thread to which strap please? :D

I personally think Burgundy/Dark blue and Brown/Yellow ;)

Burgundy/Dark brown and Brown/Yellow.

Blue on anything even vaguely suspected to belong to the brownish family (like Burgundy) would be an heresy. :)

Think so heh?

Hmmm.... but blue on tan is looking very nice no?

What about this greg strap? It looks nice to my eyes..

Love that yello one V, i wish i could stich like you, great work mate.

Thanks a lot my friend.. I always say that I have to do a step-by step tutorial of how I do my straps.. And then my thumbs after I finish the stitching to justify the price :p

On our subject matter.. don't you think the yellow one is a liitle bit too 'in your face' ?

On the right day when you feel happy and want to stand out a bit why not, why else wear a panerai if we want to be subdued.

V,

You should make a burgandy strap with that royal blue thread. That would make any PAM with blue hands really POP.

P.S. What are you waiting for on the tutorial? You could probably make more $$$ selling that than your straps :)

Wow that yellow thread one looks amazing. Are you going to start selling these in the future???

Yeap.. If I have leather and thread available whatever you see and you like I can do ^_^

V, the brown with yellow looks great....how about some pix of it with some watches....need to get some ideas as to which one it would look best with...

Hmmmm.... that does look good. I especially like the tumbled leather. And the blue stitch would look great on something like a PAM 89.

I only have 2 watches.. the Pam 112 and the Ferrari 008 :)

I think it looks good on both of them but it compliments the Ferrari slightly better because of the yellow on the dial.

Here is on the Base..

Ferrari for sure....have you already done a black/yellow stitch to match the Ferrari...you know, the one that takes petrol and has 6 speeds...

lol

I prefer the blue stitch model. Yellow is pretty in your face. Works better with the 008. Not so good with the 112.

Kostas, your workmanship is top notch.

Here is the blue stitch model on my PAM..

I have to admit that that burgundy+blue is better than I suspected (still not so good to me though), and the brown+yellow is worse than I hoped (it may fit only a Ferrari also in my opinion).

Anyway, you are an awesome strap maker, whichever colors you use. And de gustibus non est disputandum...

Btw, I find that Greg's strap gourgeous but for the stitch color. :p

Yeap.. I agree.. i do prefer better the burgundy one for my 112 and the brown for my Ferrari
