UB7
Hey all, I just came across this on rwi, I can't figure out if this is a gen or rep because I didn't know they made a rep of the black marcus..Here it is, thoughts?
luisik
Even if it were a gen, I don't like it much.. if honest.
randomfunk
Scrap what I said in the other HBB thread... This is my least favorite one!
z3k0
Well, I doubt it is a rep, we would hear about this one from our dealers. On the other hand, despite being ugly, this being reped would mean they are just one step away from AllBlack - and that would be great news . Hmm, lets hope someone will join this tread and confirm this being rep EDIT: just noticed on RWI that original poster confirmed it to be gen regards
Guest Sql_pl
Gen? And it seems like 10 and 20 on the dial are off.... maybe just the angle of the pic.... Bezel also seems to be PVD...
z3k0
Yup, it's a gen, pictures are taken from TZ - link It actually very hard to tell difference between brushed ceramic and PVD from pictures. regards
UB7
Agreed z3ko, i'd say its very hard to tell the difference between brushed ceramic and PVD..They look the same to me :-P And yes, this has been confirmed to be a gen I hope they come out with an all black i'll be the 1st one to get it! I mean how hard can it be? Its so similar to the ice bang dial except the numbers around the dial are black along with the hands, seems simple enough that the factories should make it, it would sell like hot cakes ! Victoria
Fleabay Item number: 140192456711 Buy It Now price: US $20,750.00 Maybe others feel this way when they see the other HBBs we have, but I wouldn't pay a dime for the Black Marcus. Very nondescript watch, IMO. Why is it called "The Black Marcus"?
peepshow
Gen and hideous. Although, I seem to be the minority as there are only 1 or 2 HBB models I would even consider wearing, period. Ah, well. Each unto his own, I guess.
z3k0
Why is it called "The Black Marcus"? As far as I understand it is LE (50 pcs) made exclusively for Hublot retailer/AD Marcus of London. I think Black Marcus is not it's official designation, it's just something that @UB7 came up with regards
Mickey Padge
What a fugly watch, how can you read the date?

I think UB7 got it from somewhere else though, as I Googled "Hublot Black Marcus" and that Fleabay auction came up! And others too.
