Seadweller4000
http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...&hl=carrier The photo is of the famous 'Garibaldi ship'. A lot of speculation about the Pams 'aboard' Some say they are fakes.. I personally believe some of them prototypes made for fun by various OEM Panerai parts laying around.. others production models probably made outside the normal production numbers? unauthorised? Some interesting watches there.. A gold 201/A a destro 201/A a 'Flavor Flav' 49 with pink indexes !!!! and of course some Vintages that simply CANNOT be fake. More details here on the original post: http://www.network54.com/Forum/265104/thre...aribaldi%20ship Seems like Vic was a lil faster than me. dadog13
as for Tanfoglio...he has his own section on RG...called something like Tanfoglio's gen/rep watches...he posted xxx of them...once I've asked him if he owns all of them and he said NOT...that some of them are his, and others are from his friends...so I really do not know how HIS collection looks like...most probably impressive and definitely not the one we think he has... V
"Miss Search" strikes again, SD4000. BTW, V never did give out a prize. What's up with THAT? Yeap.. because thw winner cheated I am in the process of another contest though Btw on the Garibaldi ship check this thread here: http://www.network54.com/Forum/265104/thre...t+Panerai+watch About the Luminor SUb by Mario Paci: In effect some prototypes were scheduled, but not produced by Officine Panerai, even if some years later it was found on the market...... which means that someone inside Panerai made the watches either from Panerai parts or sent the designs to a third party.
