Please, if you're going to buy anything of anyone, or have your wife/girlfriend do it for you, can I stress that we should NEVER put watch brands in Paypal comments?

Nothing costs more than having your paypal closed because someone puts "Breitling Navitimer" in the paypal comments field.

Sorry if she's upset because I shouted at her, but for [censored]'s sake, how many times must we do this? You're not out of pocket, because I refunded you, but now I'm marked. Let's hope my account gets emptied into my bank account before Paypal close it for good, eh?

Well that Sucks! sad it happened to you mate. I usually don't put anything. Besides if a dealer that I don't really know screws me I usually sic paypal on them, sic my bank on them, and if I'm in a really pissy mood I'll sic the host nation on them and then I trash their rep on forums all over the net. See you really don't have to write watch in the comments section. I believe in a gentleman's agreement. I trust you right up to the point you screw me and then it's game on.

The last paypal payment I made, as far as paypal is concerned, was for a large trojan kangaroo to overthrow pesky new zealanders who think they're so tough with their platypii and fancy kiwi birds...mmmm...kiwi birds...so cute and tasty.

Previous to that was a consulting fee for a study on the feasibility of using a giant stuffed rabbits to manage traffic congestion.

Whew....you are going to get so much trouble!! If there is anything illegal that Paypal will block your account for, it is large trojan kangaroos and not to mention overstuffed rabbits that manage traffic. I believe they even sent some of their snipers to the last guy who paid for such items using paypal. Fortunately for this guy, PP used their own service paying the sniper and wrote "Sniper service" in the comment field and the sniper never got the money because the account was locked ;)

Friend sent me some money.

Subject

"Columbian drug money"

Nothing happened. They understand at least a BIT fun ;)

No joke!

:o A few months back i had my account frozen when i sent a customer an invoice giving him instructions not to put any notes on the invoice. Instead

he decides to put Replica Hublot Big Bang SS for ''''dickwad''' in the note section. I got a unfriendly call from my local Indian paypal representative asking

me the legitamacy of this transaction, and if i want to sell replica watches then I should post them all on ioffer :p

Paypal never ceases to amaze me... How does "Breitling Navitimer" tip them off to the transfer of replica watches? I just sold a Gen 16610 and the buyer paid via Paypal. He clearly stated that the payment was for a "Rolex 16610 Stainless Steel Submariner, X serial number" No issues.

Hell, I even know two escorts that accept Paypal. I wonder what kind of trash they get in the notes section????

Sad to hear, Pugs. Can't believe that some people are still that stupid..... I really hope you'll receive your funds.

I refunded the seller immediately and called the deal off. It looks like I dodged a bullet on the funds transferred to my bank.

Sadly I cop this all the time, no matter how many times I state no brand names someone will always write Armani suit or LV bag etc.

I do wish people would spend a little time getting to know our hobby and it's inherent dangers before buying but it seems that will never happen.
