wadan Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 (edited) Hi mates , Found this post on the BMW forum , the post seems to be of interest Edited February 18, 2008 by wadan
Victoria Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 I chose to refrain from posting as not affect the flow of the discussion , It's funny how every forum has the same "Types", no? The wag: "idk where online... but went to NYC and bought me a FOLEX!!" The snob: "if you can't pay to play...." The reverse snob: "that's pretty ostentatious. you dont need different watches." The "Man, I'm surrounded by old farts" young dude: "Never saw the point in any watch, let alone an uber expensive one... guess I need to age some more." The helpful know-it-all: "Try Hamilton. You can get a nice real Hamilton for sub-1k. It's still a well-respected brand. To somebody who knows watches, a Hamilton says that you like nice timepieces but are on a budget." *cough* The potential scammer: "PM me i can get all the replicas you need for cheap." Forums.
bbell6 Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 That was actually quite funny. Especially the guy who is going to laugh in your face if you get out of a porsche wearing a fake watch. However, I'm not too sure many of them know very much about replicas. They seem to think there extremely easy to spot.

Corgi Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 I never use a watch anyway... i just use my cell or some random analog clock that I see. Never saw the point in any watch, let alone an uber expensive one... guess I need to age some more. Cartier is UGLY btw ..some of the people on this forum shouldn't be driving the BMWs, but being run over by them!!!
Dee1 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 That thread made me laugh at some of things they were saying....and I own a BMW 5 series. LOL.

Dee1 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 it's funny though how even some of the other forum members where ripping on that a4tuuuurbo guy who supposedly has a gen HBB. lol

keith_bran Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 The Hublot that "a4tuurbo" guy posted is missing two screws
wadan Posted February 18, 2008 Author Report Posted February 18, 2008 The Hublot that "a4tuurbo" guy posted is missing two screws Exactly what I wanted to comment on while reading the post , But kept my 2 cents
Dee1 Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 (edited) The Hublot that "a4tuurbo" guy posted is missing two screws I think the screws are there it may just be because of the lighting.?? Edited February 18, 2008 by Dee1
keith_bran Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 I think the screws are there it may just be because of the lighting.?? The beautiful irony is that the Big Bang he's posted is a rep. Hublot never made a Black Magic with that combination of date wheel and shiny case
