bwhitesox
There were a couple of posts by TWP in the Panerai section that have been deleted. He was showing a couple of watches that he relumed for forum members and wanted some opinions on his work which honestly was as sub par as it gets and I told him this. On one watch there was dust and crap all over the dial and on the other one the lume looked like someone pushed a finger into it before it could harden. My question is why were these deleted if they were a true representation of the work that this modder does. Surely members have the right to see what they are getting in for before sending their expensive watches out for this kind of service?
By-Tor
Are you referring to this one? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=67415&hl= It got moved to his own sales forum, because he's a dealer selling watches/mods. Other than that... I have no idea, but I'll look into it. If these threads were deleted/made invisible there must have been a good reason. But I can assure you: We never put dealer interests over our members' interest. Nothing has been deleted to "hide the truth" from the members. Why on earth we'd do something like that? TwoTone
TWP started 7 different Topics in the Panerai Forum that were set invisible... A PM was sent... Different set of Rules for the Collectors... TT
lanikai
I just tried to post a reply on the above thread that TWP posted and was "blocked" saying that I am not allowed to reply to this topic.. is this a standard option for a collector ?? I have some issues that I would like to raise with TWP.. this is quite a bit to charge .. ala carte.. and i have paid less for a genuine crown.. now I realize that people can charge what ever they want to.. but the members that will be drawn into this type of sales are the new members who assume they are getting a replica that is all but identical to the genuine piece.. I would like some validation that TWP is in fact modding these pieces and not just buying them with so called mods done or having them sourced out and to whom??? not because I want to purchase .. but rather so others know exactly what they are paying such a high price for... Inconsistencies abound here.. for a so called medical professional ..
anton
Are you talking about those posts with seemingly "retaliatory" titles? I guess those were in response to some member's displeasure with his work.
KB
Not even us mods can post to collectors threads within their sales area, if you need to ask them something send them a PM or E-mail. Ken

Ken thanks for the info Ken. there were post on the thread.. no matter.. I'm not trying to hunt anyone down.. just would like to see fair value for what is claimed to be done.. all I see are dials with claims of mods being done without the proper tools etc. (this was stated in a thread i am unable to locate) .. lot's of excuses and huge prices for work that is in question

bwhitesox
One of the posts in question is the same one that has been posted over at the darkside; http://www.replica-watch.info/phpBB3/viewt...f=7&t=37263 The other one I cannot find but was in relation to a sausage dial that had been relumed for a member. dluddy
Seem to be a lot of questions raised in the 183H TWP Victoria thread. Figured I'd bump this for those that might have missed it TWP's posts were not in the correct section. Collectors have rules on posting. His posts violated those rules. The 183 thread was moved to the correct section since it had replies posted.
scoobs1971
The 183 thread was moved to the correct section since it had replies posted. So that's why this thread was gone for hours and not because TWP deleted it? edit: re-reading TT's 2nd post answered my question
TwoTone
So that's why this thread was gone for hours and not because TWP deleted it? For the last time... TWP deleted nothing... 7 Topics were started in the Panerai Forum... Wrong place and improper listings according to the Dealer Rules... I set them invisible and sent TWP a PM... After many questions regarding the Topic on Victoria's Watch, that particular Thread was set visible and moved to GD... TT

What happened to the thread entitled "The Time Has Come To Say Something"? When it was part of my signature, the thread mysteriously vanished.
