FIRST: PLEASE DON'T PM OR E-MAIL ME TO ASK ME HELP TO FIND OR RECOMMEND THE PERFECT WATCH FOR YOU. I ONLY INVESTIGATED THE SUBJECT FOR MY OWN PURPOSES AND INTEREST! Don't hesitate to reply this thread and give suggestions. There are lots of knowledgeable people in the forums who can (and want to) help.

I am not an expert on the matter and have no connections to any brands or dealers that may appear in the watermarks of the pictures I used.

I gathered all information below on the net.

The Math Behind the Beauty

What do the pyramids in Egypt, Leonardo do Vinci's portrait of the Mona Lisa, sunflowers, the snail, the pine cone and your favourite

Nice write up! I read somewhere that this ratio can be found in a lot of instances in the natural world. Although I don't believe that our world is based on this ratio, it is a very intersting concept, and very interesting to see how often it does crop up!

Why do many people feel that Jessica Simpson is beautiful?

Her beauty is mathematical!

First the report on the NATO straps, now this, Timepiece. You rock! PIN PIN! :)

Let me just say that you "updated" the beauty, since I once saw a study about Fibonacci explaining why people were so attracted to Grace Kelly. To my mind, the most beautiful woman America has produced.

Precisely what you mention -- it's mathematical!

However, I once called Jessica Simpson that "dismal sharkface", and I'll stand by it.

The Pateks, not so much. :p

*still reading*

EDIT: I was thinking about beauty, and the snipes about racism going around in the forum recently. Many people might be tempted to think, well, what's attractive to a white person, may not be to a Chinese, etc.

True.

But I believe no matter our personal preferences (round faces in China, big bottoms in Africa, big breasts in Europe), beauty is ABSOLUTE, IMHO.

3,000 years later, and Nefertiti is still a knock-out. :)

I've no doubt Patek and IWC will be too.

Ok jokes aside yes it is a very impressive write up, thank you for the time taken to put this together. :thumbsupsmileyanim:
