Victoria
Which are some of your unusual strap combos -- which surprised you by looking better than expected? Not mine, but I found this yellow strap looks wonderful on this gen Sub PAM (La Bomba):
dluddy
Good topic. I have to say that I bought this Capretto Grigio strap in one of TC's monster sales for $19 not knowing what it would look good with. I have been pleasantly surprised how it looks on: 024 Submersible 196 Daylight Another is the Bob Vanilla strap. Looks surprisingly good on a 111:
Victoria
Good topic. Thanks. V was saying the other day, how strap threads are not as frequent anymore on RWG. Let's change that. It's fun! I have to say that I bought this Capretto Grigio strap in one of TC's monster sales for $19 not knowing what it would look good with. Heh. I got it for $44.44. The watches look magnificent. Hold that thought! Another is the Bob Vanilla strap. Looks surprisingly good on a 111: WOW. After seeing your choices, I spent about 30 minutes just now, putting my watches on unusual strap choices. I tend towards the tasteful, and I want to get a little crazy. Case in point, my Bob Vanilla on the Andrew 111e. Looks great, but it's too...wait for it...vanilla. I'll be back tomorrow with more shots!

Timepiece
Mostly seen on black croc or SS bracelet a PAM0250 looks surprisingly good on dark brown TWB croc: Right, black croc is the 'usual suspect' but I really like it on this custom brown strap as worn by Jason Statham in Transporter:
V
Right, black croc is the 'usual suspect' but I really like it on this custom brown strap as worn by Jason Statham in Transporter: That's not a 250 and definately not an unusual strap combo (half panerais come with this strap as stock)

Geeeyejo
Not a PAM I know, but WOWZA! Where did you get it?? Nice pics, BTW. Thanks! - actually made all the straps myself - my dad dabbles in leathercraft and I took a few scraps to play with - had to include the B&R since the strap will fit the 44mm Pams... sssurfer
Great topic idea -- as expected from our beloved Queen Vicky. Apologies for not having time enough to post pics but just my opinion. Many awesome combos here. Very few unlookable ones (to my Italian taste at least). Not so bad on such a brave subject like this, IMHO. The one I am 99% syntonic with is old skool, though. Congrats! peepshow
Prototype Savage strap. Sadly, he can't get this hide any longer. I think there are 2 other straps made from this leather out there somewhere... Tootall Blue Steel I don't know how "unusual" this is, but it's something that I don't see "in the wild" too often. Which is a shame, as it's a wonderful strap. Mario Paci Private Stock in cognac Toscana Fiero
mastergod
Good topic. This buckle comes from the sling of an old H&K AG-3 submachine gun (used by the IRA, Muslim fundementalists, African guerillas AND the Norwegian army), which just happens to be a 24mm sling. The metal was once powdercoated black, but it Edited May 5, 2008 by mastergod

Blobzor
The watch looks absolutely too big on this small wrists, bad taste...look at the buckle, it's almost the size of his arm.. Great watch and strap tho, just not for this owner..my 2 cents.

Well, I'll just concentrate on the Norwegian army bit, and say, WOW! Both in looks and functionality (one-hand snap offs, try that with a regular strap), an innovative strap. Yes, a little thin, but consider its background. I like it a lot. BTW, the purple croc shot is not mine. I am neither male, nor black, nor do I own that fine autombile. @Blobe: Yes, the gentleman said his wrists are 6.4". That's fairly small for a man's wrist.
