maulermacall@hotmail.com Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Im not affiliated to the publication of the new watch magazine 00/24 but it was a great suprise seeing a luxury watch magazine available in the high street. It features a good article about Hublot Big Bangs and Roger Dubuis watches. Its dripping in serious watch porn photography. Any other RWG members purchased it and if so what are your thoughts?
Ben Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 looks like a good mag, never seen in shops myself but will keep a look out, which store did you get it from? and any idea of the watch on the cover? thanks
watcher Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 It has been around for a while now and I've got a couple of previous editions. It's quite a good magazine and UK based too.
FxrAndy Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 It is about time (pun not intended) germany has about 5 different mags but the UK non untill now, I look forward to picking one up on my next trip/
anton Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 I purchased an issue last year here in the States----Panerai was profiled and a small article about Valentino Rossi/JLC. Surprised 00/24 was only heard of now in the UK. For the price of the magazine here in the US, I thought it did come from the UK. It is a worthy magazine choice out of the choices we have here: InSync International Watch Revolution There's one more---but can't quite put my finger on it.
maulermacall@hotmail.com Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 I kinda assumed it was new to the UK, but on closer inspection its published 4 times a year. So when I saw it was issue 1, must be the first issue for 2008. Its published in the Netherlands, and at
freddy333 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 A great magazine, but I think WatchTime is still probably the best if you are looking for useful info along with your watch porn.
Corgi Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 It seems like watch culture is much more prevalent in the UK than in North America...
ratchpot Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 A great magazine, but I think WatchTime is still probably the best if you are looking for useful info along with your watch porn. IMHO WatchTime is terrrible. The so-called journalism is biased towards the manufacturers who buy adverts. They could also do with a decent proofreader, because there are usually a lot of mistakes in the text.
