Since it's in all caps denoting an abbreviation, I've always pronounced it as individual letters Eeeeeee.....Teeeeee....Ehhhhhh but I've heard my fair share of dealers at ADs pronounce it as a single word...Ehttah. Which is it??

It is pronounced with emphasis on first syllable and the first syllable is an E like it "he" -

Think Yee Haw! but with a "T" EEEE-Taaaaa!!!!

Just kidding, I have no idea.

Well the company that makes peanut butter in Oz, is pronounced "eater"

Just another slant on it! (Or maybe this is an Australianism for Etahh?)

I always thought it was EEE TEE AYY, but read somewhere recently its Eta, one word.

Well done on the pop culture, sir. As to the main post - I've always said E.T.A, but have heard many pros say ettah. Go figgah?

Wierd. The AD I go to says eh-tah so that is how I usually pronounced it until now.

i used to say E T A but was corrected by a buddy of mine who collects Gens that its EhTah

The other one that gets confused alot is Patek Phillip

as an pa-tek or pa-TEK
