Omega
I opened this thread, because some people think the modern MBW sub has a too big date-mag and the rehaut is to deep. One of these watches is my modern MBW with gen parts, the other is gen. So what do you think? Thanks for looking...
ShawnBeever
Very nice. Gen. on the bottom.
alligoat
I agree with Shawn, gen on bottom. The dial print on the MBW isn't as good. The crown above ROLEX is shorter and fatter than on the gen. Hour markers look slghtly smaller. Date mag looks about the same- 21 always looks bigger than 26. Rehaut isn't much taller. All-in-all, the MBW is a nice watch. w.genzo
I guess it is a noob dial, MBW has 3 bars under SWISS MADE I opened this thread, because some people think the modern MBW sub has a too big date-mag and the rehaut is to deep. I ddn's say that an MBW couldn't have a correct data mag (even if looks stil bigger to me) but most MBW have a bigger date mag because of the deeper rehaut. You could put a piece of glass and have a even weaker mag effect i.e. BTW what bother me most of MBW's modern sub, and I owned a lot, is the conical rehaut and the uncorrect date font (easily fixable installing a noob DW) Anyway it's a damn nice watch, we are not talking about a 80$ noobmariner
Tribal
I know the watch an it's an older manufactured MBW Sub The new ones have a Cyclop with 3x Magnification. So its not the deep Rehaut that makes the Date so Big. And you are right about the date wheel some Numbers are damn off. But I think the numbers of an Noob Wheel are slightly to big I have compared them with a gen Date Wheel.
