Guest Sql_pl
I have always been a sucker for cell phones. There were times when I replaced them like every week. Later when Nokia introduced their first 88XX model - 8810 I was hooked. Been through all of them - 8810, 8850, 8910, 8910i and landed at 8800 that I have and enjoy for almost 4 years already. Actually both me and Ola have identical 8800s an love them. However there is still something above the Nokia 88 line - the Vertu. It is like Lexus to Toyota. The thing is they cost like 6500.00 usd and up. Quite the money for a cell phone. Every now and then I used to check ebay for some cheaper ones but never found one that would be nicely priced and not scream SCAM. Till now. I found some of these priced at around 1500 usd. It turned out they were copies of gen Vertu. Did a little research and found some cool stuff. It turned out our Chinese friends were able to make almost 100% exact copies of full Vertu range! Made with real leather, steel or titanium! Just look at this review: VERTU rep review The reviewed phine came from this site: http://www.lux-replica-phones.com/index.php?cPath=18 BUT - they sell them for like 899.00 usd + shipping there. I managed to find some people selling them a lot cheaper at DHgate etc but since they do not have amazing feedback I am not keen on sending them the money only to find out I was scammed. So here is my question: Is there a chance more of you guys would be interested in such Vertu rep? As our dealers are all based in CN or HK I bet they are able to source these. I think I would feel a lot more confident when buying from one of our guys. PLease let me know what you think. If there is interest maybe we can go and contact Ruby, Angus or anyone else and see if they can get them. Thanks!

warmodder
I'd be interested in a good vertu rep from a trusted source. The only problem is I use verizon and as far as I know, it wouldn't be compatible.
robj
There were a couple of versions of the Vertu phone 1 was Chinese and cheap at about $200 the other was much better at around $450 and used nokia internals very simular to the originals. Guest Sql_pl
Ken I checked your offering but it seems as it was not the quality I wanted. But I have to say I have not seen the TRC review. I will see what I get and check out the quality. If it's fine i will propably get a couple more of these for Ola etc. Do you have any idea if you can source an older version of Ascent? Thanks! dwswatches
I have a friend who used to be a dealer, he can sorce most Vertu replicas, at less than they sell on the dealers sites. I have bought a Vertu Consellation, and now the Ferrari phone. Both were very good quality, but I paid US$280.00 for the Consellation, and US$550.00 for the Ferrari Phone. I hope the board don't mind this posting, but if anyone wants one of these phones, just PM me, and I'll give you his e-mail address.
Guest Sql_pl
That's good news. Any chance you could post some pics of your phones? Especially that Ferrari Ascent? And how is signal and sound quality? Thanks!
dwswatches
That's good news. Any chance you could post some pics of your phones? Especially that Ferrari Ascent? And how is signal and sound quality? Thanks! The quality is great, I have seen genuine Vertu's, but not used them, so it would be difficult to compare the two as far as using them. However, the quality is as good as the genuine phone, looks, feel, etc. As for pics, I'll see what I can do. I sold my consellation so I could by the Ferrari. I sold it on another replica board. I am not a good photogragher (you can tell that by the pics of the watches i have for sale!), so it properly wouldn't do the phone justice. Here's a picture of my consellation

dwswatches
and it really sais vertu on the phone? not veptu? Yes, it has all the correct markings, says Vertu everywhere, even on the batteries! This is a picture of the Ferrari Phone he sells. This is the one I have.

Guest Sql_pl
@dwswatches One thing that bugs me in that Ferrari is the "caseback" engraving. All that I have seen were 00001/1947... quite a give away What number is yours?
Guest Sql_pl
I ordered the newer Ascent - Acent Ti. It is supposedly made out of real titanium like the gen: We will see what gets here

Guest Sql_pl
This knurled one is also cool but if t is a Racetrack-Legends series it should not have a Ferrari logo in front: And as you can see once again 0001/1000.... It's a shame they didn't copy a regular Ascent, non-limited one... would get that one too then.
dwswatches
There are different types. the one you picture is the one I have. However, I know my supplier does 5 different types of the Assent. I think you have to be realistic, no replica is 100%, thats why its a replica!!! The watches and phones I have had, have fooled everyone I know, thinking it was genuine. The only ones you don't seem to get away with are the all gold watches, though I have seen Solid 18k Gold ones of those, but whose going to pay US$2500 for one?
