Snoopy speedmaster

When I discovered the world of "trusted" replicas a few weeks ago, I also discover the Speedmaster and the Snoopy award Speedmaster. I was not that much into watches. In fact I didn't wear one for almost 10 years or so

Well for euros 42, you did alright and broke your rep cherry and learnt how to take it apart, did you get it back together?, enjoy it and thanks for posting, it is not very oftern people show ones like this as we are all in the super and modded thing but it shows ehat can be had for very little.

I forgot to say earlier (this is an edit), that this post reminds me of why we should do reps...because they're fun...not to prove anything to anybody...but to have a good time with the assembly and disassembly...just enjoying the basic premise of a design...and also, down the line...seeing how close to gen you can make things.

Great fun.

I found that the movement is something called "Chinese Automatic Cal ST6 Movement". There is a well done tutorial to service it here. If anybody is interesting to try servicing its first watch without putting too much bucks on the table.

Here is a little update of the mods I made on my Snoopy speedy.

I swap the glass for the acrylic Sternkreuz generic one.

So for those interested in the diameter, yes the speedmaster acrylic glass fit

in this rep. You just need to remove the gasket ring of the mineral glass and use

some glue.

I don't know why the factory do not use this case for the higher quality rep ?

I also try to achieved a relume.

I am a little ashamed of the lume result
