takashi Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 I am a super happy guy today. Christmas comes early this year. The best gift for after exams. Thanks my friend Guru who drove me to pick this up! Review coming up soon!
cornerstone Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Wow - this is turning out to be an amazing day for gens! That is a beaut as well. Enjoy!
swdivad Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Great watch!!! I missed one a while back by about 5 minutes :| Don't sell it! I miss my U1 and this one's extra special!!!
Seadweller4000 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 I love it. Wear it with pride, mate! And congrats for your exams!
takashi Posted July 25, 2008 Author Report Posted July 25, 2008 This is definitely something worth replicating. I know the gen has technology that repmakers don't have, yet (i.e.: U Boat steel, drying capsule, etc.) but it's worth trying. I can vouch that this watch is very very legible under various lighting condition, true to its label of Einsatzzeitmesser (mission timer). Plus, after half a day wearing it, this watch is very comfortable, much like wearing many IWC watches.
bwhitesox Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 I've never really seen many of the Sinn watches but I'm certainly a fan of this one ...It looks fantastic.
italiano17771 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 thats sweet taka! big congrats for completing the exams. looks great on the wrist too...perffect size.
hank7502 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Great watch. I sold my U1. Bad move on my part.
takashi Posted July 25, 2008 Author Report Posted July 25, 2008 Thank you Sinn prices are going up pretty considerably. Couple that with weak USD (the factory is using Euro as main currency), many Sinn watches are by no means in relatively "affordable" range anymore.
chubbchubb Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Truly a beautiful piece.... wear it well!
