I know the gen has technology that repmakers don't have, yet (i.e.: U Boat steel, drying capsule, etc.) but it's worth trying. I can vouch that this watch is very very legible under various lighting condition, true to its label of Einsatzzeitmesser (mission timer). Couple that with weak USD (the factory is using Euro as main currency), many Sinn watches are by no means in relatively "affordable" range anymore.
