athan
CG are a joke Ii don't think that there is a good rep of this watch around yet. Thanks for the topic Jbond. I think that the rep dealers should keep a separate Bond watches section. Is this it? http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...22f379b5f831af7
imranbecks
In QoS, he's wearing at least a 45mm PO on steel. Sorry to quote an old post.. But just to do a correction. In QOS, he is wearing a 42mm PO, not a 45mm..
TeeJay
In the books of Ian Fleming, James Bond wears a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, but not many details are given by Fleming which makes it hard to find an exact description of this watch. In the novel of OHMSS, not only is the watch described as a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, but it is also said to have 'large, luminous numerals'. The only Rolex of that era which matches that description, is the predecessor of the Submariner. Before it was called a Submariner, the only details printed on the dial were 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual', and it did indeed have numerals rather than 'dots' as indices

tenacious_b
I just saw an omega billboard in Austin, TX yesterday with what was clearly a 42mm PO (smaller teeth on bezel) with QOS messaging on the billboard as well.
JBond
UPDATE! Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Chronometer OMEGA and James Bond. The adventure continues... In the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig will sport yet another Omega, a Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Chronometer with a black dial (watch ref. 2201.50.00). Bond fans and Omega enthusiasts will know that 007 has been wearing Seamasters featuring blue dials since 1995 so the black watch face on the Seamaster Planet Ocean in Quantum of Solace marks a departure for James Bond. The Limited "Quantum of Solace" Edition of the Seamaster Planet Ocean "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" LIMITED EDITION Modelnr. 222.30.46.20.01.001 The black textured surface of its dial - reminiscent of the grip of 007's trademark Walther PPK - distinguishes the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Quantum of Solace from every other James Bond limited edition watch. The blood red tip of the seconds hand rotates in stark contrast to the black dial. Unmistakably Omega, undeniably Bond: a 007 logo is engraved on the buckle of the stainless steel bracelet. Another 007 logo appears on the caseback which also features the engraved words "Planet Ocean Limited Edition" whose black chromium treatment recalls the colour of the black dial.
