Bluray Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Just wondering if there is a way one of you could tell me if this sub dial is authentic from the pics? A guy says he doesn't know if it is but is selling it? So I dont know what to pay for it without knowing...any way too?
alligoat Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 NO! Dial feet are in the wrong place, back is all wrong, dial print sucks, it's not even the quality of a noob dial!
LordRasta Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I'm no Rolex expert but you want to look for this: See where it says 300m and beneath that CHRONOMETER? The "m" from 300m and the "M" from CHRONOMETER should line up with the "m" on top obviously. The better reps like the Noob are perfect in this sense so you can't only go by that but this one is WAAAAAAY off.

w.genzo Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Some gen dials have the "m" that does not align perfectly. Like on YM, there are many variances among 16610 dials. Anyway your dial is completely different from a gen one.
jfreeman420 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Aside from all that has been mentioned, the lume is all over the place. The white is overflowing the silver rings.
Bluray Posted August 19, 2008 Author Report Posted August 19, 2008 ahh ok thanks guys great tips this is a no go then and I will certainly look for those things in my search!
