Hi All

Just received the lastest AP ROO seconds at 12.00 and

fitted it with a carbon fiber strap from AP Strap with a folding clasp

Very pleased with the result. Quality of both is exellent and after

adjustment the movement is now running +1-3 sec per day.

Thanks for looking

Regards

Richard

Hi

The latest ROO from the factory comes with a black date surround

so no mods needed

Richard

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info Richard.

Dammit......another one to add to the wanted-list. I might just need to disable the pictures when I browse RWG from now on.

Very nice watch and combo, Richard.

Hey Ztech, maybe we could get a discount if we see the shrink together? That way we could save some money and buy a watch

Richard,

I thought you had too much ROO's lying around?!

nice one...I am still holding myself from buying this one...mainly because of the movement, but as well because I am short with the cash...

Grrrr... ditto to all three points <_<

But in stead of a groupbuy, couldn't we organise a group robbery? :gun:

Does the Oracle Rubber / Carbon /kevlar fit the AP ROO (as listed in this thread) right off,or do you need some conversion-kit??

:D Ok, I'll find a shrink that has a California King bed for a sofa. Maybe he'll give us a, "as many as you can fit on the bed", dea. :p

So is this the correct dial color? I cant tell if it is off-white.

Also, should the numerals be solid black with no lume? Ive heard some members say this dial combo isnt accurate?

Looks great IMO.

Just a note about the AP Bands carbon fiber... BE VERY CAREFUL with it... The carbon fiber layer is EXTREMELY thin and fragile. I have a strap sitting in my parts bin that was worn about 7-10 times and started to rip around the holes and wear the strap would bend. Now about 1/2 of the carbon fiber has peeled off.

Just an FYI, It is not a durable "wear anywhere" kind of strap!

Thanks for the additional info Richard. I really do love this combo of dial color and strap. By the way do the sudials contrast the dial from what you can see in person?

Thanks
