Hiya guys, I opened up my SOSF today (curiosity) and realized that its not 2824-2 as i thought (rightly/wrongly). It has a 2836-2 stamp on it and is SILVER. all the pics etc I have seen on this board the movement is golden. is this normal for SOSF? I will try to post pics once i get home..

Cheers

No need to fret, this is perfectly normal. I think most dealers offer it with the 2824 but angus offers it with the 2836. I think the only little difference is the datefont on the 2836, not sure if it's more/less accurate but i'd like to know as my SOSF has a 2836 aswel

I wonder if there are any other differances in the cases, because a 2824 is not a straight swap with 2836 ( I know, tried to put the 2836 in my 2824 sfso). I thought I read they redid the case at the beginning of the year to accomidate the asian and 2836 in 1 case instead of seperate like previously.
