By-Tor
Beauty!!! PS: Now align that bezel correctly and it'll be almost perfect.
watcher
THe bezel is aligned correctly, I think it is the photo angle.
Pugwash
THe bezel is aligned correctly, I think it is the photo angle. It's not aligned correctly. There should be a pointy bit of bezel at the top, not a flat one. This is a normal flaw that all the SMPs have.
By-Tor
True. But I recall Watcher owned a genuine SMP. If he didn't spot the alignment issue I'm sure it's not that big of a deal, really... That GMT is such a lovely watch. Does this version have a display back?
watcher
I'm with you now!! you mean the bezel not the insert. I never noticed that and would never have! Yes this one does have the sapphire back. It has the gold movement with a silver rotor that I swapped over so it looks a bit better.
colinmgzt
Don`t know if All smp`s have this problem, got this from PT about 4 months ago, in comparison to the 2 gen`s i have the alignment seems ok. The wave pattern is spot on, the only problems are no AR, Crown is a bit oversize and the pearl protrudes just a fraction too much. Here`s a couple of quick pics

watcher
Looks like you went with an Audi that day! Nice watch Paul! Cheers! Well spotted Maciek. I usually use my little A3 everyday I'm going to remove the bezel and sort that little problem out but I would be very suprised if any genuine guys would notice as it is only we reppers that spot things like that. I've had 5 genuine Seamasters and it has never crossed my mind as to the direction or position of the bezel indents.
