How did you get the good crown and cg plated in the same color as the case. I cant figure out how thats possible, unless you replated the case aswell?

is deadly beautiful for sure, and if you start offering this watch to other members, ill take one:-)

please read the main page.

1.) copper plating,

2.) 5 micron 750 fine gold plating,

3.) some areas on the parts to cover with special varnish,

4.) final plating 25 micron 750 fine gold,

Wow...puzzling...

When I had my "Norge" copper plated fiddy homage done, my metal-master did this:

1) gold plated it and THEN

2) copper plated it.

But when if you want a gold finish, you must:

1) copper plate it and THEN

2) gold plate it.

Hmm...There

the minimum of gold plating is 5 micron when copper is the basic plating.

my first gold plating is 5 micron 750 fine gold, and only on the areas for the sapphire,

bezel, case tube inside, case and caseback threads.

all visual parts got the additional 25 micron 750 fine gold plating.

there can be only a copper/gold chemical action, when the gold plating is less than 5 micron.

the copper absorbed the poor gold plating.
