Pugwash Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I decided to try an ultra-clean, high-contrast MoonWatch pic, cos it's difficult. The watch is, as you probably all know by now, an Omega MoonWatch from Precious Time. This pic was taken at f2.8 on a Lumix DMC-FZ20 and was worked hard in Photoshop. Lighting was ambient daylight hitting a light tent. The reflections on the crystal and case were left as the only spots of colour. click for bigger
ryaku Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Gorgeous pic Pugwash. I'm afraid it's time for me to get a new camera
cornerstone Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Fantastic picture!! I'm sure that annoying 'P' will come out in Photoshop! (I joke!) Being the "moon watch" surrounded by all that white gives it an ethereal, floating feel - makes me think of those sixties visions of an anti-gravity future...

Truly floaty, and coming soon ...
ubiquitous Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 A gorgeous pic! Very crisp and sharp, and the composition is great! I really like the floating effect... Good stuff!
Pugwash Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 For anyone reading the Photoshop stuff in the Submariner wallpaper, this may be of interest to you. This is how this shot came off the camera:
