By-Tor Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 DOXA REVIEW DOXA vs. ROLEX SEA DWELLER Orange Doxa is a killer watch. It's actually very handsome, despite looking big and clumsy. Love it!
Nanuq Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Lordy Lordy Lordy, you're KILLING me with these dive watches! I'm Jonesing BAD for a Sub 300T or equivalent. Is this the most handsome watch ever created? You decide.
Shundi Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Hmm interesting comparison... thanks By-Tor!!
DuDro Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Eff-the Submariner! This will be my next gen-diver purchase!
Nanuq Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Eff-the Submariner! This will be my next gen-diver purchase! Oh crap. Now I've spawned a horde of competition for the next really good Doxa that pops up. I'm with ya man... it's time to offload some pieces that never get any wrist time and pop for a DOXA.
strattakan Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Mmmm Doxa Like I say in another thread, a huge miss in a rep world, although this is one of I wanna have the gen. 278usd for a ETA 2836-2 and I
Ztech Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Doxa's are very cool. I've owned several in the past and still own one. The Mil Sharky. The thing wears very small for it's size and is extremely comfortable to wear due to it's bead bracelet. I'd highly recommend this watch to anyone. It's got a history to match any out there to boot.

All right, cough up some photos. I gotta see this beauty!
Pugwash Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Is this the most handsome watch ever created? What about the Ploprof?
Ztech Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Ok, here is one... Yes, the Ploprof is also an awsome watch! I didn't have $15k to buy one so I got in on the pre-order for the Ocean 7 LM-7. A homage to the Ploprof and I can't wait till she arrives home.

Ztech Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Wow she's a looker! Time for a trade eh? Thanks Nanuq. Trade? Never... She stays in her tube most of the time. I've had several generous offers for trade and sale, but me thinks she'll stay with me to the grave. The other Doxa's have come and gone, but this one is a keeper, espeically since this was a limited edition never to be made again. I had the newer 5000T's, but for some reason it didn't appeal to me as much as the 750T's. Great watches.
Nanuq Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 I hear ya, there are pieces I'll never sell either. But I got my eye on The Twenty.
diver_dylan Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 I LOVE this one and the blue dialed one too!!!!!!!!! D
lazarini Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Amazing pieces for sure... one of the most charismatic divers ever imho. Regards Laz
Ztech Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I wonder why nobody has rep'd a Doxa. Seems to me there's enough interest for it. Especially since I've seen some reps that are more niche than popular to the general public.

Case: simple Crystal: simple Bezel: simple Movement: ETA Dial: simple Hands: no-brainer Make sure it's orange, has beads of rice, black hands, size it like the 1000T.

Case: simple Crystal: simple Bezel: simple Movement: ETA Dial: simple Hands: no-brainer Make sure it's orange, has beads of rice, black hands, size it like the 1000T. you means: Just make the 1000T! well 5000t is great also, and the 600T...
Nanuq Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 As long as it's the 1000T PRO so it has the orange dial and black hands...
diver_dylan Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wish I had more than the pic..... D WOW Diver... that is a hunk of steel.
alphakazi Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Thanks for sharing - until now I've never took notice to Doxa... ...now I'm feeling the love 45mm is perfect http://www.doxawatches.com/ad_home.htm anyone know the connection with Jenny watches ? here's a review comparing a Breitling SO with a Doxa Sub http://www.doxa300t.com/600tbri/600tbri.htm
