greg_r Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 I have an E430 Sport and I love it. I was pleasantly surprised to be getting just a hair under 20mpg with the thing. Good luck! I was astounded to get around 30mpg on a long run in the AMG E55 I had for the weekend (albeit that was a gentle drive at sensible speeds with the cruise control on), but it was more like 17-18mpg around the local lanes. Mind you, that's a UK gallon, which is larger than the US gallon, so your 20mpg would probably equate to slightly more over here. I'm thinking of trying an E320, which reportedly gets around 24-25-ish in average conditions, which isn't much worse than my previous (pre-tree) car...
