chillininla
Looks pretty nice. Very close to gen, should be 43mm according to tag website and have double sided AR. But josh's pics dont show much evidence of AR
jot9011
Somebody must be buying all these new TAGs, but it ain't me.
chrgod
Well.. Nice, but I still prefer my CV2010 "Brad Pitt". Its classic "no nosense" style has made it a favorite. I have never really understood the need for day on a watch.. It is just one more issue which can bother if it does not align. Interestingly, the normal Carrera has Depth rating of 50 meters, while this new one has 100 meters
juanmorog
It has a big, big error : the areas of the silver subdiales lower and upper are inver ted.
chrgod
This is the gen? Seems like the rep has the normal slightly grayish text on the dial, but except from that and date font not too bad at first sight.
strattakan
also the Black SS looks good:
b16a2
I like the idea of it being 43mm, but I still porfer the original Carrera, really nice and simple, whereas for me the numbers on the dial over complicate it, looks too much like a Corum styled dial for me. z3k0
Based on Kings and Josh site it is 41 mm ... I guess it was too mach for them to manufacture new case Too bad, I hoped they might have done bracelet properly this time ... but they obviously just reused Carrera Tachy parts ... Definitely nowhere near super-rep regards
andreww
Don't believe Josh & King's specs, they are often wrong. This looks to be exactly the same size as the gen, Given they have they have basically the same movement, Its easy to determine size by the placement of elements on the dial. If the watch was smaller, the subdials would look too outboard, and the numerals would have to be smaller. Those reversed subdial rings would drive me nuts though. z3k0
Well, I guess you have a point, it looks indeed that spacing is OK, meaning case size is OK. Then it is even more disappointing that they screwed-up subdials completely regards
juanmorog
respect to the black Carrera,
chillininla
Both Josh and King versions are the same watch. But they are both also too small (41mm) when the gen is 43mm The gen also has double Ar and the rep doesn't have any
digitalnrg
King replied 41mm is the actual size without measuring the crowns. I really like the black one but looking at the pictures from King, the tag logo on the black dial is also black color but the gen has it as white color. Need more clarification. deemaster
I'm pretty sure that Tag no longer uses that rotor on any of their watches any more either. Especially their new ones like the Grand Carrera and this new Day Date which is a pretty huge problem. I even see the classic Carrera's with the updated rotor (with the holes in it) at the AD. digitalnrg
juanmorog, absolutely a beautiful tag. A must have for my tag collection. Question, did the watch also come with the box? do you know the actual measurement of this watch? I'm asking because King list on the site as 41M, but the official size from tagheuer.com lists as 43M diameter. Thanks for sharing

juanmorog
Thank you, I am glad you like it, watch it to buy King, the box is 41mm like that of my old Carrera, will have to wait a while to make the 43mm, the leather pouch is my new F1 is 44mm original, soon they would put some pictures to see the size difference between them is not significant in the wrist. Sorry for me spanglish
juanmorog
photo to see that there is no great difference between the Carera of 41mm and 44mm of the new F1:
