Rainbow facts: Yes, you can get upside-down rainbows To photograph the whole arc, you need a 19mm lens, preferably a 17mm or less. If you see a rainbow in front of you, the sun is behind you Circular rainbows can be seen from planes. The shadow of the plane will always be in the middle of it. dieselpower Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 You claim the rainbow is gen but I'm not so sure. If you look carefully at its arc it seems to flatten a little at the top, I suspect it is a 'Clarks Rainbow' - nothing wrong with that, they are perfectly good and would pass inspection with anyone other than an RIS I just hope you did not pay too much $$$ for it, you may have been ripped off.
