offshore
Was just doing some research on the "Squale" watch cases, and stumbled onto this site. http://www.freewebs.com/billyschorr/blancpainbundeswehr.htm Gee there are a few in there, to bring a lump to the throat of any diveholic collector, and I'm sure Nanug will enjoy the viewing. Interesting history, in that a watch manufacturer, would finally stop manufacturing watches, and become a case manufacturer 'to the big guys' We just learn a bit more every day. Gee I love this hobby...it takes you everywhere. Offshore.

jeff g
Nice find. My father left me a WWII Glashutte chrono when he passed. It was standard issue for german officers in 1930's. I have often thought of sending it to Rob for servicing. I picked it up a year or so ago, shook it a few times, and it began to run. I am quite sure it hasn't worked for 50 years, and yet it still had the juice. One of these days.
Nanuq
Speaking of Squale cases, Offshore pointed me toward a VERY nice dive watch on the 'bay... a Super Squale PloProf with all working parts. Did I mention it's cheap? Almost free? C'mon vintage diver collectors, this baby's got mojo. Super Squale
