What do you think of this odd watch winder?

Interesting & I have no specific knowledge of damage such movement will cause, but I think the more gentle circular calisthenics that standard winders put your watch through may be better for it over the long run.

I may be new to the game and I probably couldn't tell you the difference between a subdial and a strap, but I have to say, that winder definitely doesn't look rep friendly.

Damage? Less than an active day's wearing, at a guess.

I like it :)

Maybe it's not so bad. It just looks so... I dunno, mean?.. Like i would never put my baby through something like that.

Nice and slow. That's how I like it. It's just too abrupt and jolty.

I like it. When it's not winding, your watches are all staring at you face up. I always wished the other winders would stop winding in the face up position instead of random.

I can't imagine that any harm will come to your watches from this winder. It looks no more aggressive than a watch would go through under normal use.

Another advantage might be that it should be much quieter than the traditional winder.
