freddy333 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Interesting & I have no specific knowledge of damage such movement will cause, but I think the more gentle circular calisthenics that standard winders put your watch through may be better for it over the long run.
Cgrech Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I may be new to the game and I probably couldn't tell you the difference between a subdial and a strap, but I have to say, that winder definitely doesn't look rep friendly.

Damage? Less than an active day's wearing, at a guess. I like it
Cgrech Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Maybe it's not so bad. It just looks so... I dunno, mean?.. Like i would never put my baby through something like that. Nice and slow. That's how I like it. It's just too abrupt and jolty.
kbh Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 I like it. When it's not winding, your watches are all staring at you face up. I always wished the other winders would stop winding in the face up position instead of random.
jdavis Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 I can't imagine that any harm will come to your watches from this winder. It looks no more aggressive than a watch would go through under normal use. Another advantage might be that it should be much quieter than the traditional winder.
