Edwin, .. so sorry to hear of your Aunt's passing.. she is in a better place..

Ofrei sent me the wrong bezels .. I ordered the vintage acrylic pear and was sent the TT.. with black and gold and the newer pearl.. I am sending them back for credit.. if you want I can shoot pics up close and let the experts advise you.. or if you wanted to purchase one from me after I post the pic.. I have 3 that need to go back.. but I can adjust accordingly..

Im also looking for a good insert. My Euromariner LV insert fell off as the glue came undone! Wld any of these snap into the euromariner bezel assembly? Using glue to hold it in just seems a lil lame...

I read from another member that the trapezoid 4 is for the older subs with lug holes.

Is this incorrect?

I ask because the Euromariners and other "modern" sub reps (without lug holes) come with trapezoid 4 bezels.

The modern Gen subs I have seen have the triangle 4 font.

However, I've seen a Gen LV (2003)with the trapezoid #4.

I'm confused!

I don't know if this will help, but, look at the lv sub here.

Look at the #4 on the #40 marker on the bezel

This one is a trapezoid #4.

The 4 does not come to a point at the top of it.

And on this lv, the #4 on the 40 marker comes to a point at the top, like a triangle.

Can you see the difference?

Indeed...that's a great TZ reference for the LV.

I just ordered an insert for a 16600 from watchbandman50 on the Bay. He doesn't have the item listed on Bay, but has it if you email him. This seems to be one of the better inserts around. I have seen many SD gen pics with the flat 4, and some with the pointy 4...and from what I can tell, the Z series SD 16600 has the pointy 4...so that should be what's coming.

I also ordered replacement pearls from watchmaterial.

I'm still a little confused as they say on the site that the 16800 and 16600 inserts are interchangeable, but my SSD v2 doesn't take the 16800 insert that I have. The inner hole diameters seems larger by about 0.75 - 1.0mm...and Rolex definitely has different parts for the bezels. According to watchbandman50 in an email however, they have different parts for the 16800 and 16600 that are different sizes...so I should be getting the right noe.
