jmarin.72
Hello I have just spotted a misalignment issue with an SD hour hand.It seems that it does not follow correctly the minutes hand and this has the result shown in the picture. In this specific example the hour hand will be exactly on top of the 8 hour index when the minutes hand reach the 2.So in 8:10 the hour hand will be correctly positioned over the 8. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
involt
the hands need to be removed and reinstalled in the proper position. A watchsmith will do it for you

FxrAndy
Well the cown in the crystal can bee seen from the moon and these guys will list a lot of other thing but if you are happy with the watch dont be down hearted, members here can be perfetionists and spent a lot of time and money making perfect replicas or as close as is humanly possible, some times i think more than humanly possible! Shundi
No "heavy" 5 minute markers (the white lines) as per the gen (well, they're heavier but not to gen specs), Date can be misaligned at times, bezel hangs over the case/"teeth" aren't cut properly, insert, pearl, REHUT DEPTH is a big one...I've modded mine with everything but new lume however if you're really looking for it, the rehut depth/shape is the biggest "tell"... no one's going to notice it but a true WIS but it's still not "Perfect"... I love my modded V2 ETA model though

Dear Andy thanks for your reply.I guess you are right about the crown and of course i am sure that many of the other guys will spot about 100 other flaws(wrong CGs,wrong crown size, wrong pearl, wrong bezel e.t.c),but i am very happy with the watch cause 1)It keeps a pretty decent time 2)it looks good enough to be real to the untrained eye 3)I don't intend to sell it for original,so the trained eye will not have the chance to take a close look enough to evaluate its authenticity!!! Besides from my experience, only 1% can distinguish the real think from a replica. But then again,i might be wrong!!! I am not a perfectionist and i am not looking to mod a watch in order to make it better than the real one!!! But i would like to get some experts opinions on the flaws of this replica so that i can keep them in mind, just for me. Thanks again for your opinion, you are great. Very kindly described... @jmarin.72 You have a lot of reviews here about the SSD, and there is everything listed... But here some issues: Crown too wide, Crystal bevel wrong, eched crown too big, 5 min hour markers are not thicker, date window is too small (too quadratic), Pearl is off, lume not strong enough, SEL's are wrong, CG's wrong shaped (or better said they need a shape), rehaut too wokky, I guess from the pic it is a SSD V2, so the Bezel is OK - if it's a V1 the bezel is wrong. And of course your hour hand is not correctly positioned... But this can be done by a local watchmaker (or by a modder here from RWG who is maybe in your country) without problems. And don't worry, this failures can only be spoted by a trained eye or a direct comparison, so wear it without fear! EDIT: A pic - your vs. gen, so u can train your eye... I love my modded V2 ETA model though Hello Shundi, thanks for your reply. I agree with you on all the flaws you have spotted,i just wanted to get extra opinions for guys like you who are into deep to the subject. The only thing i intend to change is the pearl,i have already ordered a new one and i also intend to take it to a watch repairer to fix the hands issue, cause this is the only obvious giveaway to the untrained eye i think!!! Did you do the mod by yourself?

Dear Omega hi and thanks again for your reply I couldnt have said it any better!!!(or to be more accurate,i have already stated it before your reply!!!) I know that you guys in here are miles away from the average replica buyer that's why i trust your opinion and i have asked for it.And sometimes i think that most of you should be hired by ROLEX in order to skyrocket its watches up to new limits!!! BTW have you or any other member here to suggest an RWG watchmaker cause some of my watches need service and small repair works and i am very skeptical about taking them to a watch maker, not because there is a law problem but mostly because i am a little embarrassed to take a couple of replicas to a professional watchmaker
