Pugwash's Photoshop Guide Movie

I was planning on writing a Photoshop tutorial to show you how to do this:

95334-27419.jpg

The problem was that it was over 40 screenshots making it rather too large. Then, it hit me: I can write music, I can edit movies, I can take photographs, I'm very much part of the iLife generation ... why not do a complete and utter show-off movie and combine the lot?

So, I did. Here it is: Pugwash's Photoshop Movie (4MB Quicktime)

Edit: Add better and smaller movie. Move old link here.Pugwash's Photoshop Movie (10MB MPEG4)

A notepad, pencil, & the pause button give me a lot of information...

You don't need to sit on the pause button. In Quicktime, pause the video and use the left/right buttons on your keyboard to cycle through the images.

If there is enough interest, I'll make the screenshots available full-size online.

ps. All questions/comments/etc. should be posted to this thread and not to my PM box as I think if I get two more PMs, my box is full.

...and if you are trying to see the sequence, look on the right in the History palette and you can see the steps listed. Also, look at the clock and that should give you an indication of how long the whole process should take. :D

The problem with navigating with the arrow keys is that you miss my piano piece. :black_eye:

Pug: With the level of your contribution to the board, I bet if you ask admin to up your storage, he just might grant it...

Just a thought...

Good idea, but I prefer to encourage people to reply to threads regardless. :D

And to reply to your thread is exactly what I am going to do!

Pug that is a superb guide you have posted, but the movie format was just a touch of excellence :thumbsupsmileyanim:
