mastmampf Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 Hello, So i also ordered one of Honts Breitling Avenger Skyland Blacksteel he is actual offering for only 280$. I received the watch yesterday (DHL to Germany), only one day after Hont emailed me the tracking number. But i think i have compared too much between the V1, V2 and V3 models. Now i don`t know anymore if i really have the DLC or maybe it is only a PVD coated model? How can i be sure that i got the right one (without scratching the case!)? Here are some quick shots. Pearl surrounds are different, the chrono pushers were too long on the V1 (not sure if they still are) and the V3 uses PVD instead of DLC like the V2, so the V3 is far too dark in comparison to the genuine. What is the size of the strap? I hear 24mm, but your link is 22mm? I need to shop for a new strap for mine while I wait for delivery The Skylands are all 22mm at the lugs. Hont showed me 4 watches to choose from...all had 1-2 lume dots off-centered... i eventually selected one with only 1 lume dot off-centered...the #1 spot...for some reason, most of the ones i was shown have #1 lume dot off-centered...
