ubiquitous Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 For grins, I'll click on it every now and then... But it seems every time I open it, no one's ever there?
thomasng Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Same here. Whenever I log on, no one's there.
V Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Same here... Don't you think we should arrange a time to log on all together?
chris5264 Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 I've had a few chats with other people, but most of the time I end up by myself. We could have a specific time to chat like the paneristi have...
ubiquitous Posted August 7, 2006 Author Report Posted August 7, 2006 Yes... Designate, say one evening to chat meet. I'm not much of a chat nerd, but every now and then it is a lot more fun to have instantaneous discussion without having to wait for a thread to update
Admin Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Sorry about that. Twotone just could not stay away from that big, red button that said "Do NOT push"! You should be able to log back in now, though...
KB Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Unfortunately I seem to be the only one on the board who is have trouble accessing the chat room or more correctly it's functions Ken
Linder Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Ken, try going to www.java.com and upgrading to the latest version.
KB Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Ken, try going to www.java.com and upgrading to the latest version. Yeah I did that but no change, the firewall explaination needs more exploring. Ken
artoero Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 so i had a quite good time yesterday on the chatboard, because the forum was down for an hour. There where 20 people and it was fun!! I use Zone alarm and only put it at the "moderatly paranoid" level, still it kills most Java and Flash. The good news about Zone Alarm, though, is it prevents my Breitling Screensaver (downloaded from Breitling.com no less) from talking to the Breitling mother ship. For some reason, the screen saver wants to tell Breitling about where your surf and what your spending habits are. Cool screensaver though.
Linder Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I had a lot of fun as well. It is unfortunate Ken was not able to stay.
