KB Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 Ok hang on to the congrats here, 14,457 sounds like a gremlin prob. We did however set a new record with 1,578 on the 13th of June Ken
maxman Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 I have to admit that 75% of are membership on line at one time did soud a little high Mike
trailboss Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Gremlin. It does that every now and again. Wierd gremlin tho as it seems tove reporting that particular number. I'm not shure the server would cope with the load Col.

cornerstone Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 That 'users' stat includes guests in addition to members I believe - it's the number of different computers hitting the server. So you do see spikes for a variety of reasons - that was a particularly weird one though. With the benefit of hindsight, every time we seem to mention that we have something like the PARIS HILTON CRISTIANO RONALDO SEX TAPES the number of visitors does seem to increase...which is odd It's almost like it could be more popular than this whole 'watch thing' we've been running with [With apologies to nikki6, who has probably just sprayed his morning coffee all over his keyboard...]
trailboss Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 It did this about a mth ago too. Same number. And again a few weeks before that about the same time the stats were claiming a cpl of hundred thousand members Lordy knows why, some sort of glitch. Col.

Admin Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 WTF? Me thinks I need to reset some stats Perhaps blow some dust of the good ol' processor. Back down in the basement I go....
