I don't want to burst your bubble... but you can often get genuine inserts for the 5513/1665/1680 for as low as 70$ Where, do you have a link please? As un upgrade the insert font is better than the MBW version and the pearl that was in there was better. Sorry I did not take a picture of the pearl before I removed it. 66 bucks and the insert is better than the stock MBW version for sure. The insert clicked right into place, no glue. In fact so did the pearl, very firm fit I will add a tiny bit of glue though when I start wearing the watch I think, what would be the best type of glue to use? Could you post a link maybe please? I would be happier knowing that it had a bit of glue securing it What I did with my inserts was to clean the back with emery paper to give the glue something to adhere to. I then cleaned both the bezel and back of the insert with some isopropanol cleaning fluid to remove any trace of grease. Then I used a cocktail stick to put tiny spots of araldite rapid at each 5 minute mark on the bezel and snapped the insert into place. Then after cleaning any glue from the front on the insert (there would be none at all if you are careful) I used a cocktail stick again to run a small bead of superglue around the bezel and the insert at the rear. I did not want people to buy the inserts until I was sure they were the correct size and fit etc..... I sent a picture too and mentioned it must be a clockwise date change. They replied they could get that part for me and that it would be $17 delvered!
