UncleJay Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I'm in contact with a Nato strap maker who says that he can reproduce the correct "Bond" Nato, navy with burgandy outlined OD green stripes. I was thinking that both 18 and 20mm would be useful, what do you think. Should I try to see if this maker can do a good job? IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
vlydog Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Howdy UncleJay, Although I am not sure if a "Bond" Nato is appropriate for a great white, the only sub I own currently, I would be interested if it is accurate and of superior quality. It appears that everything else you have been showing us, and the forum has been drooling over, is of the finest quality. Thanks
doc savage Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I would be interested, especially in the "too small" size worn in Dr. No.
UncleJay Posted March 23, 2008 Author Report Posted March 23, 2008 I feel anyone with a Bond would want two, the original "too small" and a regular 20mm. But here's my question, 16 or 18mm for the "TS" Nato? Let's make it a poll. I say 18mm ........................ and you?
doc savage Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Hmm, looking at the photo again that thing looks at least 3mm too narrow. I know nothing about Rolexes (Rolii?) though. Hopefully it's not too expensive?
tmg Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 I'm in for one but the one in Dr. No isn't a G10/NATO strap -just a flat strap (something like the one in the attachment). It would be great to have it without the extra piece under the watch head.
mjmurphy926 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 I'd probably take a couple of each size.
surpur Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Hey, whatever happened to this project? Yeah - I would also get a couple of them in 20 mm
