  3. My only watch that cost 1/2 as much as its bracelet...: And the bracelet only cost $50.00!! (The watch was a $25. "fixer upper" that needed the 2 and 6 refastened to the dial!!)

  6. On most rep watches, the valve is nothing more than an engraving or etching on the (out)side of the case. A working He valve consists of a hole through the side of the case into which a functional valve is placed (read this for additional details). Whether the valve meets Rolex specs is another story altogether. Anyone actually performing deep or saturation diving should not put their life into the hands of a franken watch.

  7. I see what you mean....the little loop Inside the B sems to be missing. I doubt anyone will notice without a loop. But I do see what you're refering to In regurads to the loop...or lack of. I have had three SA and never noticed until now. Mike

  8. The case engravings look excellent but as already commented the caseback ones are not as good. I also find the crown reaching too high up, at least it looks like this in the picture. Lugholes are fine for me. So I would vote for franken with gen case... Dee
